Biography/Personal Statement
Vincent is a multi-instrumentalist, specializing in drum set, Tabla and Percussion. He works with the Taalim School of Indian Music in Rutherford, NJ and has studied and performed at the Rhythm Riders Institute in Ahmedabad, India. Both of these schools are run by World renowned Guru, Pandit Divyang Vakil. Vincent Graduated from Rutgers with a BA in Music and has strong knowledge of western music and percussion. He has also studied West African, Afro-cuban, and Brazilian music. Vincent is currently employed at the Mason Gross School of the arts Dance department as an accompanist. He has also toured nationally and currently plays with the group Natural breakdown on drum set and percussion.
