I have over 30 years experience in professional guitar instruction and performance. I am currently accepting new students for guitar instruction.

I teach from Beginner through Intermediate skills. I specialize in and will accept advanced students for Piedmont finger style Blues.

All lessons are customized to suit the style, skill, and abilities of the student.

After twenty five years in the aviation industry, with 10 of those years in the US Air Force, my hands decided they couldn't build jet engines anymore. Fortunately, the guitar skills I'd acquired over thirty years of teaching and performance have been retained (and finally, after two surgeries, seem to be getting better).

In my musical life, I have played with or opened for The Roches, David Bromberg, Paul Seibel, Junior Wells, Rosalie Sorrels, Arlo Guthrie, Scott Ainslie, and Reverend Dan Smith, among many others.

And I finally have an album coming out, soon, titled "Lean Forward a Little"!! It's mostly '20s and "30s acoustic finger style blues, Piedmont and Delta...with a couple of curve balls thrown in as well.
